Mitchell Sawmilling - Completely Portable

The Mill
The Select 3620 is manufactured be the Select Sawmill Company of Plantagenet, ON, Canada. It is powered by a heavy duty 50-Hp John Deere Industrial Diesel Engine. Its heavy steel construction and engine allows it to handle and cut logs up to 20' in length and 3' in diameter. The mill in total length is 32', width 8' and weighs 7,000 lbs.

The Equipment
The John Deere 60-Hp tractor/loader with quick connect bucket or forks affords the ability to safely and quickly move logs and milled material whether it be beams, timbers or boards.

The Blade is 4" wide which produces a cut surface with an almost planed look and feel and its 3/32" kerf has the added benefit of creating less wood waste. The computerized set works provide consistency in every cut and dimension.
