Respect the human-animal bond
- We know that pets are family, not a member of a pack
- We understand how a pet's behavior can have a significant effect on your family
- We handle your pet gently and with respect throughout the behavior modification process
Analyze
- Pet behavior can be complex, so we spend significant time taking a behavioral history
- We determine why your pet is behaving in a way that is causing you concern
- Our analysis is directly linked to the sciences of animal learning and behavior
- We know each problem requires an individual solution, and we create a customized plan for you and your pet
Educate & Demonstrate
- We take the time to explain the cause or motivation of your pet's behavior
- We spend considerable time with you and your family explaining and demonstrating what
- we want you to do and why
- We can help resolve conflicting information you have received about your pet
- We will provide a concrete plan that addresses your pet's behavior
How Can We Help
Problem behaviors can be resolved or significantly reduced through private behaviorial consultations, one-on-one coaching, day training or board and train, and group classes (depending on the problem behavior).
Basic manners and unruly behaviors can be strengthen and better understood from the dog's perspective through private coaching sessions, day training or board and train, and group classes.
If dog sports are your passion we can help with honing and sharpening your training and handling skills through private coaching sessions or group classes for puppies to experienced dog and handler teams.
All behavioral consultations, coaching sessions, day training, board and train and group classes are held at the Monadnock Humane Society Training Center in Swanzey, NH.
