What happens during a consult?
An appointment will take between 1.5 - 2 hours. During this time a detailed behavioral history and evaluation will occur to derive a diagnosis and develop an appropriate treatment plan. The treatment plan will be discussed and demonstrated. A behavioral report will then be mailed to you and your veterinarian.
Most behavioral problems can be resolved or reduced significantly through behavior modification and training. The training methods used are scientifically proven and are applied in a no-force, humane manner. The goal is to enhance each individual human-animal relationship while reducing or eliminated unwanted behaviors through one-on-one coaching to help you resolve or significantly reduce the problem behavior.
